While psychology was not part of his tertiary education, through personal experience with depression, Iggy has garnered a deep understanding of social psychology, the human condition and mental health. Over the last few years, Iggy created Happiness Sweeping®, a mind training technique that has helped many people dramatically improve their personal happiness and overall sense of well-being. Mr Tan is a highly experienced mining and chemical executive with a number of significant achievements in commercial mining projects such as capital raisings, funding, construction, start-ups and operations. Mr Tan has been a Managing Director of a number of ASX-listed companies. Iggy Tan is a Rotarian and author of Ban the Performance Appraisal (2016) and Stop Craving Happiness (2018). Iggy also volunteers his time as a ‘happiness coach’, mentoring others in the art of happiness. Iggy holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Cross, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Karen will provide you inight into her career journey, and offers tips how to find the career that's right for you.
BIO
Karen McLeod is a highly skilled and qualified Career Coach with more than 13 years’ experience across a range of industries throughout WA. After initial qualifications in educational psychology, Karen was successful in being selected for the Graduate Development Program run by the Office of Executive Personnel, a state government fast track program for outstanding graduates. Karen worked at the Education, Police and Health departments in the human resources policy, equal employment opportunity, recruitment and selection, and research and statistics divisions.
After post-graduate qualifications as a Career Coach and Counsellor, Karen has worked in private practice as well as representing companies from Perth, Melbourne and Sydney working with clientele from university graduates through to senior executive level in private enterprise, state and federal government and Not-For-Profit organisations. This includes all aspects of career transition, redundancy, counselling, management and coaching as well as presentation of workshops and seminars for up to 250 attendees. Her significant experience includes providing individual support and group training during ongoing restructures and redundancy in both blue and white-collar industries.

BIO
Aaron founded Pragma in 2014.
He is a graduate of the University of Western Australia.
He was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2008 and in the High Court of Australia in 2009. He regularly appears as an advocate in all Courts and Tribunals.
Aaron completed his articles of clerkship with a commercial law firm before spending 5½ years at a major international law firm in its Litigation and Dispute Resolution Division. He was promoted to Senior Associate. During his time at that firm, he spent 18 months working in the firm’s Melbourne office.
Aaron has lectured to law and business students at tertiary level. He also gives presentations to members of the legal profession including most recently a presentation with the Chief Justice of Western Australia on best practice in mediation.
Aaron has graduated with a Masters of Laws from the University of Western Australia. Aaron sits on the Courts Committee of the Law Society of Western Australia.
Aaron is a Committee member of The Piddington Society – an organisation which promotes access to justice and legal education.
In 2017, Aaron founded the Subiaco Community Legal Service. He sits on the Board as Chair.

BIO: Liam Elphick is a Lecturer at the University of Western Australia Law School. Liam graduated from UWA with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts in 2016, and was then Associate to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the Honourable Wayne Martin, before returning to UWA. Liam is an Equity and Diversity Advisor in the Law School, and also sits on the UWA LGBTIQA+ Working Group and the Pinnacle Foundation WA Regional Committee. He has published widely on anti-discrimination law, sports law and legal education, and has been interviewed regularly on issues relating to LGBTIQA+ anti-discrimination protections and religious freedom. Liam has also been an AFL Scout for the past decade, first at Sydney Swans and for the last 8 years at Port Adelaide.

BIO: Sanna runs workshops and individual consultations on English language and study skills at UWA. She is a writer, performer, poet and unionist with a close to twenty-year history at UWA. Sanna’s first poetry collection, straight lines, will be published by Mulla Mulla Press in August.

In 2013, a cycling incident left Zac Leow paralysed, later told he would be lucky to walk again.
Indomitable spirit drove Zac to finish a UWA Honours degree, take up a PhD and, in 2015, compete for Singapore in the ASEAN Para Games, winning silver in the 1500m and setting national records for the 400m, 800m and 1500m.

Belinda a lawyer and consultant has worked across a range of industries including politics, marketing and communications, commercial advisory and dispute resolution. Her previous work includes international relations for the Australian government.
As a result of her consulting projects, Belinda identified demand for a new and emerging areas of commercial legal practice, particularly intellectual property and contracts related to technology and the digital economy.
Belinda combines her technical legal skills and business prowess to provide general commercial advice with a focus on the impact of the digital economy on marketing, communications and law.

Dr Tristan Clemons is a research fellow at the University of Western Australia working on novel nanoparticle treatments for a range of diseases including cancer, heart disease burn and spinal cord injuries. He completed his PhD in 2014 and is now working as a National Health and Medical Research Council Australian Biomedical Fellow. In his spare time Tristan is a business owner with Get Flapped, bringing the Legionnaires hat back into fashion, and a member of the Kookaburras the Australian Men’s Hockey team.
